We at Architectonics Inc. are greatly honored to be involved with such a visionary project of residential land development. Together, we worked very hard to create a new concept of a town living, located in the beautiful natural setting of Toyama, Japan.
We envisioned a town where the homeowners would have a sense of community and pride of ownership.Our basic design concept was the harmony between man and nature, and, we focused our efforts on landscaping the development with and abundance of beautiful plants, trees, and, water features. We also added many parks, which can be used for various outdoor activities, to enhance the homeowner's quality of life.
At first, the cultural differences, governmental regulations, and restrictions in Japan overcame us. But after visiting Toyama, we are confident that we can work together to recreate the beautiful neighborhoods, like in our hometown of Kirkland, Washington, USA, which is also, very similar to the landscape and climate of Toyama.
We believe in the future of Toyama, the city is surrounded by the snowcapped Tateyama Mountain Peaks, beautiful countryside, fresh air, pure water, and wonderful people that care about their environment. We envision a bright future for this community, and with the proper care and planning, this will be a landmark neighborhood community, that will be enjoyed for generations to come. |
我々は日本の、それも美しい自然に囲まれた富山の地に、生き生きとした街創りの新しい概念を創造するため力を尽くし取り組みました。
我々は、家を所有なさる方がオーナーシップとしてのプライドとコミュニティーに関するセンスを持ち得る街を思い描きました。我々の基本的なデザイン概念は人と自然の調和であり、我々は我々の努力の焦点を、美しい木々、草花、水の表情を豊かに表現し開発する点に合わせました。我々は同じく、家を所有なさる方々の生活の質を高めるために、種々の屋外での活動のために利用出来るよう、多くの公園を加えました。
まず我々を覆ったのは、日本における種々の規制と文化の違いでした。しかしながら我々は富山を訪問した後、美しい街創りの実現に向けて共に取り組む事が出来る事を確信させられました。それは、我々の故郷、アメリカのワシントン州カークランドもまた、富山の気候や地形に非常に良く似ているからに他ありません。
我々は、未来の富山のこの街が、雪をいただいた立山連峰、美しい故郷の風景、新鮮な空気、透き通る水と、それらの環境を気遣う素晴らしい人々によって取り巻かれているだろうと信じています。我々はこのコミュニティーの明るい未来を想い描いています。適切な処置と計画により、画期的な近隣型コミュニティーに育ち、来るべき何世代にもわたり楽しまれるだろう事を。
